Both Governor Paterson and Attorney General Andrew Cuomo are not pleased with the current list of nominees for Chief Judge.  According to a Times Union article, Andrew Cuomo thought that “the list [was]flawed.  The governor should be able to consider men and qualified women. And to circumscribe and limit it to only men (indicates)… something is wrong with either the process, the legislation or the way it was administered.”  The Attorney General plans to look into the process of selecting judicial nominees.
