From the Volokh Conspiracy:  There was an interesting decision from the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals regarding the requirement (18 USC 4208 [e]) that federal parole determination hearings be held person.  It appears that these hearings were being held via video conferencing.  You can read more about it here.
